Curling is back November 23

  • Richmond Curling Club will open Monday, November 23 as planned. All scheduled leagues will go ahead.
  • Until midnight December 7, travel to, from and between health regions for athletic activities such as games and practice is prohibited. This means anyone living in Vancouver, Richmond, and North Shore is permitted to curl at our club, but until the restriction is lifted anyone living in Fraser Health and other health regions cannot travel to our club for curling. Fraser Health includes Burnaby, New Westminster, Delta, Surrey, and further east (essentially anyone living south of the Fraser River or east of Boundary Road).
  • Masks are mandatory for everyone in all areas of the facility, except when seated at a table in the lounge, until further notice
  • Spectators are not permitted until further notice.
  • Our lounge will be open when there is evening curling. We hold a liquor primary licence therefore the rules governing bars and restaurants apply to group sizes and seating limits. Masks are required except while seated at a table.
  • Our Return to Curling and Return to Gameplay plans are currently being updated and will be posted as quickly as possible. Before you come for curling please familiarize yourself with our Return to Curling and Return to Gameplay plans. They can be found on our website:
  • If you or your team members have not yet registered, please ensure you do so now. No-one will be permitted beyond the pro-shop unless they have registered and completed the covid and liability waivers at minimum.
  • Practice ice will be offered soon, please be patient as we work through getting our leagues settled so we can determine a schedule for practice ice.
  • Please ensure you are following us on social media and/or subscribed to our newsletter to stay up to date.
  • We look forward to welcoming you all back next week.
