League & Spare Rules

Richmond Curling Club's League & Spare Rules
League
1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7)	These rules apply to all Club Leagues. (ie Mon. & Wed. Men's , Tues. Open and Fri. Mixed) All CCA rules apply. (see posted CCA rules for any changes or new rules) All teams must have at least 2 regular members. Draws Start at 6:40pm sharp and 9:00pm. All games are a maximum of 8 ends. A bell will ring after one hour and forty five minutes (1:45) ~ note the clock on the ice does not run the bell When the bell rings, complete the end being played and one more unless you are already in the 8th end.
Spare
1) 2) 3) 4)	At least 2 regular players from a team must be playing. If one (1) spare is required, the spare will be allowed to play any position up to and including the position that is vacant. Except for the SKIPS position which must be occupied by a regular member of the team. If two (2) spares are required, same as above. Spares my only play up to the position vacant. (e.g.; Lead and 3rd absent-one spare must play lead, and the other can play 2nd or 3rd.) Spares who are not members of a league of the *Richmond Curling Club* must register with the office.
